Mellow Down Easy is a three-piece rock group working from Nashville, Tennessee. The band released their first album, Splendid Ms. Maizie, in 2001; and their second album, Brothers of the Left Hand Path, was released 11 May 2005. The group had signed with Chromium Records of Liverpool, England, but in 2007 they signed with Nashville Noir Records.
Mellow Down Easy is comprised of singer–songwriter and guitarist, Andrew Adkins; singer and bass guitarist, Daryl Dasher; and drummer, Rodney Russell. In 2006, Adkins was voted as a top three "Best Local Songwriter" by Music City publication, The Nashville Scene, in their "Best of 2006 - Readers Poll" issue.
In 2009 the group signed with Dualtone Records. April 2009 they released their much anticipated album, "Cosmisutra" to rave reviews.
